Security Guard - SecurUs Asset Protection

As a Security Officer, you’ll serve as the first line of defense — maintaining a strong, visible presence that deters unwanted activity, ensures safety, and promotes peace of mind for everyone on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment by protecting company property, employees, and visitors.

• Monitor for signs of suspicious activity and respond appropriately.

• Document and report unusual or suspicious incidents in detail.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, premises and surrounding areas.

• Control access to facilities, including monitoring entry points and vehicle gates.

• Provide assistance in emergencies, including first aid or CPR when required.
   

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• Proven customer service experience.

• Valid Driver’s License (required).

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Competent in using mobile devices and computers for reports and logs.

• Unquestionable integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience in security or customer service.

• Must be able to obtain a security guard license from WA DOL (No Criminal Record)
